Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Shop Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the automotive repair shop and fleet services

  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, and scheduling

  • Purchase parts and supplies while managing vendor relationships

  • Ensure compliance with DOT, DMV, and safety regulations

  • Assist with transportation-related operations when needed

Finance & Record Keeping

  • Maintain accurate financial records, invoices, and expense tracking

  • Reconcile payments, billing statements, and vendor accounts

  • Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets

  • Support budgeting, cost control, and expense forecasting

  • Track payroll-related documentation and operational costs

Administrative & Systems Management

  • Proficient use of spreadsheets (Google Sheets / Excel)

  • Manage files, records, and communications using Google Workspace

  • Maintain organized digital and physical records

  • Support internal reporting and documentation needs

Customer & Vendor Relations

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally

  • Conduct cold calls for service outreach, follow-ups, and business development

  • Communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and internal staff

  • Represent the company professionally at all times

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in automotive, transportation, or mechanical environments

  • Strong record-keeping and organizational skills

  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets)

  • Experience using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail)

  • Comfortable making phone calls and cold outreach

  • Experience purchasing automotive or mechanical parts

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing a repair shop or fleet operation

  • Familiarity with DOT, DMV, or transportation compliance

  • Basic understanding of budgeting and financial reporting

  • Prior management or supervisory experience
